Dr. Blue is our Medical Director and Physician. He is board certified in family medicine and fellowship trained in sports medicine. He is originally from New Jersey and has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University. He worked for four years mostly in software development before attending UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Blue completed a family medicine residency at UCLA Medical Center and a sports medicine fellowship at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
Joana is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and licensed as an FNP in the state of California by the Board of Registered Nursing. She obtained her Masters in Nursing from University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA, where she also worked as a registered nurse at HealthAlliance Hospital. Her undergraduate degree is from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, where she studied Biomedical Science and Psychology. There, she was a Division I tennis captain and aided her team to two MAAC championships and two NCAA bids.
Jan (pronounced “Yen”) is our Physical Therapy Director and physical therapist. Jan has a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is from Sunnyvale and attended college at California State University, Chico, before getting his masters in physical therapy at Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles.
Tom earned his Physical Therapy Assistant degree from DeAnza College in Cupertino after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from San Jose State University. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2001.
Jacquelyn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from San Jose State University in 2014 and has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since June 2014. During her schooling she held several internships in various settings around the Bay Area including high schools, junior colleges, universities, and physical therapy clinics. She has gained over 1,000 hours of experience at schools including San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, Harker High School, and Bellarmine College Preparatory.
Dr. Dino Del Mastro earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West (PCCW) in San Jose, California. Dr. Del Mastro chose PCCW because of its prestigious Sports Council Program, which allowed him to study and specialize in Sports Therapy. In school, he had ample opportunity for hands-on experience in injury evaluation and management while working as an intern at local sporting events.
Olivia received her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from San Jose State in May 2014, and has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since June 2014. During her schooling she held many internships with schools in the Bay Area and gained over 1,000 hours of experience. Some of these schools include Santa Clara University, SJSU, Bellarmine College Preparatory, and Archbishop Mitty High School.
